Chairman of the People’s Committee of Truong Sa district in Khanh Hoa province Le Dinh Hai said 61 boats have anchored at safe habour in the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago, while the military medical force stands ready to provide help for fishermen.
The district has a reserve stock of food, water and medicine for a few days, he added.

In response to the ninth storm, Thua Thien - Hue province has rushed to strengthen dykes, instruct boats and fishing vessels to safe habour, as well as help local people to solidify their houses.
