At the inauguration ceremony

The 442 sq.m kindergarten with two storeys has six classrooms and a dining room. It was constructed at a cost of nearly VND 8.2 billion, including VND 6.3 billion funded by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, and the remainder by the locality.

Le Hong Son, head of the Ho Chi Minh City Department, said that the funding for An Vinh kindergarten was contributed by the department’s staff, public workers and students across the city.

The department will call for more contributions of school supplies to kindergartens in Ly Son district.

On the occasion, the department presented a water filter, worth VND 20 million, to An Vinh Kindergarten.

Ly Son island district has three kindergartens now. With the new An Vinh Kindergarten, the district has two boarding-kindergartens to meet the demand of fishermen’s families.
