Construction of Kindergarten starts in border commune of Ia Dal
PANO - The Committee for Population, Family and Children (CPFC) of the Ministry of National Defense (MOD), in association with Army Corp 15, on September 26 held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Team 8’s school point of Kindergarten 4-3 of Branch 716, Army Corp 15 in hamlet 5, Ia Dal commune, Ia H’Dra district, Kon Tum province.
The construction cost of VND 1 billion is from the MOD’s 2018 Children Protection Fund. The school covers 225 sq.m, including 145 sq.m used for the main building with 3 classrooms, and the remainder for auxiliary subprojects.
Kindergarten 4-3 of Branch 716 comprised 11 school points for kindergarten and pre-school education.

In the past, Team 8’s school point in Ia Dal commune, Ia H’Dra district enrolled in 48 children aged from 6 months old to 5 years old. Children were brought to school from 2am. All daily activities of the children from playing, eating and learning were in the school, which used to be small and in a poor condition.
Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant General Le Van Hoang, Political Commissar of the MOD’s General Department of Logistics, deputy head of the CPFC asserted that the project showed the good care of the MOD and the CPFC for the young generation in remote areas, by creating favorable conditions for children to study and develop.
Such support also created a premise to build border areas of prosperity, firm security and defense.
General Hoang also asked the builders to heighten their sense of responsibility, ensuring the quality of the construction.
On the occasion, the CPFC also presented gifts for Kindergarten 4-3 and children of Team 8 school point.
