60 years since Uncle Ho’s visit to Ha Nam to be celebrated
PANO - A ceremony to mark six decades since Uncle Ho visited Ha Nam on January 14, 1958 will be organized at Cat Tuong historical relic in An My commune, Binh Luc district of the Northern province of Ha Nam on January 13, according to a press conference on January 5 in the province.

60 years ago, President Ho Chi Minh
praised the Ha Nam provincial Party Committee, troops and people for their initiatives
in drought prevention during his visit to the province. He presented the flag
“Best drought prevention” to Binh Luc district and visited Cat Tuong dyke in An
Hoa commune (An My commune now) which helped save local rice fields from
drought. He also visited a local convalescence center for wounded soldiers and
sent best regards to other wounded soldiers being cared in the locality.
Addressing the press conference,
Tran Duc Thuan, Chairman of the Commission for Information and Education of the Ha
Nam provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the ceremony organizing
board, emphasized the importance of the ceremony, saying that it would be a
chance for local cadres, Party members and people to express their gratitude to
President Ho Chi Minh and to further study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s
thought, morals and lifestyle, contributing to local development
At the ceremony, outstanding
collectives and individuals in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s
thought, morals and lifestyle in 2017 will be honored and other meaningful
activities will take place.
