More than 60 photographs, documents and exhibits showcase President Ho Chi Minh’s visits to provincial localities and the successes of Phu Tho in a number of fields, including socio-economic development and defence-security.
Meanwhile, more than 100 photographs encourage visitors to take responsibility for protecting Vietnam’s sea and islands.
Phu Tho is planning to hold a ceremony on September 19, featuring a number of performances to celebrate 60 years since President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to the Hung Kings Temple.
The temple is located on Nghia Linh Mountain, in Phong Chau district in Phu Tho province, approximately 100km northwest of Hanoi. It is a large complex comprising ancient tombs, monuments and temples.
The annual Hung Kings Temple Festival commemorates the eighteen Hung Kings, who founded Vietnam and started a golden age in the country’s history.
In 2012, UNESCO recognised the worshipping of Hung Kings as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
