A Vietnamese Student Association has been founded in Finland with the participation of 40 Vietnamese students throughout the country.
Huynh Phong, a 28 year old student at Helsinki University, was elected Chairman of the Association.
The Association will have various committees to undertake different tasks such as external relations, information, finance, education and organizing events.
Ambassador Tran Ngoc An from the Vietnamese Embassy in Finland praised the foundation of the Association. He said that he hopes that the Association will encourage Vietnamese students to study well in order to better contribute to the homeland.
