Head of the National Assembly’s Ombudsman Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai suggested alternating positions to prevent the problem and using modern technology to watch against corruption behaviors.

The Government Inspectorate should launch a hotline at units to acquire public feedback, he said.

Binh affirmed that the Government always maintains a strong political determination to fight and drive back corruption, towards building a contingent of officials, civil cadres and public employees with discipline and integrity, improving business environment and national competitiveness, and achieving sustainable development goals.

He called for respect to the Directive at all levels in combination with the enforcement of the Law on Corruption Prevention and Control, and directions by the Party General Secretary cum head of the Central Steering Committee on Corruption Prevention and Control.

Heads of ministries, agencies and localities must consider the fight against corruption, including petty corruption, a regular, continuous and long-term political task, he said.

The Deputy PM also took the occasion to call on the business community and people to join hands with the Government, the PM, departments and agencies in the effort.
