The film features a heroic period of history with the fierce fighting in Quang Tri battlefield in 1972. On that theater, blood of tens of thousands of soldiers mingled with the Thach Han River, creating an immortal epic in the history of the nation. The film not only recreates the brutal realities of war, but above all, honors the everlasting values of patriotism and noble sacrifices for the nation’s independence and freedom. It delivers a vivid lesson and a sacred message to today’s generation that today’s independence and freedom were gained through blood, faith and aspirations of the entire nation.
