Party’s newspapers asked to enhance roles of social feedback and monitoring
PANO – The Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education in association with the Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper and the Vietnam Journalists’ Association held a conference on November 12 under the theme of “Improving the quality of the whole-country’s Party newspapers in 2022” in Da Nang city.
The event was attended by Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Vo Van Thuong, and Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the Commission for Information and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia.

In addition, there were over 400 delegates, who are leaders of the municipal and provincial Party committees, the commissions for information and education from all provinces and cities nationwide, and representatives of the central and local ministries and sectors.
Addressing the event, Mr. Vo Van Thuong required all Party newspapers to clearly understand their roles in the building and regulation of the Party and political system, contributing to supporting the leadership of the Party organizations in implementing higher levels’ guidelines and policies on socio-economic development and security-defense maintenance.

He noted that the Party newspapers should not only reflect all aspects of the real situations or serving the readers’ information needs but also encourage them to contribute to the national construction and development cause. On the other hand, the newspapers should promote the truth, accuracy, and public orientation in their press works, he added.
The official also noted that leaders of the Party’s press agencies should renew their mindset, promote their political responsibility in implement the assigned tasks, build qualified groups of journalists to meet task requirements in the current context.
