Chairman of the National Assembly (N.A.) Vuong Dinh Hue attended the event. 

According to the organizer, among 2,697 entries from 138 central and local press agencies nationwide, the jury council selected 79 best works for the awards. Particularly, seven works won A prizes while 14 works were awarded B, 20 C, and 38 consolation prizes. The People’s Army Newspaper (PAN)’s reporters won one B prize in printed newspaper category and one C prize in the category of e-newspaper.

According to a report delivered at the event, participating works were highly appreciated for their quality, good contents, closeness to the breath of life, highlighting the position, role, functions and tasks of the National Assembly and people's councils at all levels, and strongly spreading the spirit of innovation and drastic actions of the legislature and people's councils in order to promptly deal with difficulties, promote and create development for the benefit of the people and the country. Entries also portrayed the image of typical elected deputies close to the people and for the people.

At the end of the awards handover ceremony, the organizer launched the third Dien Hong Awards-2025. Entries should be about major duties and key activities of the National Assembly, people’s councils at all levels, and elected deputies in the fields of legislation, supervision, decision on important national and local issues, parliamentary diplomacy and others. Entries must be those posted and broadcast from December 6, 2023 to November 5, 2024.
