On this occasion, the GDP’s Chief visited to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, during which he expressed his appreciation for the association’s continued collaboration with the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the GDP, and agencies and units in the whole military in effectively implementing policy work and historical education.

General Quyet expressed his hope that the association would continue to support the military in the time ahead, actively encouraging its members to uphold the Party’s guidelines and policies on military and defense missions and to promote the noble qualities of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” in daily life, thereby contributing to building prosperous families and thriving, civilized communities.

In his meeting with former Chief of the GDP Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan, General Quyet wished him good health, longevity, and happiness. During the conversation, the GDP’s leader briefed the retired General on key achievements in Party and political work across the military in recent years, and expressed his hope that General Ngan would continue to offer guidance and support for the revolutionary cause of the Party and the continued development of the Vietnam People’s Army and its political apparatus.

General Ngan expressed his sincere gratitude for the attention and support from the CMC, MND, and the leadership of the GDP. He also voiced his hope that the general department would continue to provide sound strategic advice to the Politburo, the Secretariat, the CMC, and the MND to lead the military to fulfill all assigned missions successfully. He emphasized the importance of building  strong and transparent Party organizations; a regular, elite, and modernized military capable of meeting every task and challenge.
