Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has asked relevant ministries and provinces to organise anti-drug campaign from June 1-30.
“The campaign should focus on raising public awareness of the negative impact of drug abuse, especially ecstasy. The dissemination activities should concentrate on high risk target groups,” he said.
He urged provinces to strengthen their measures to combat drug-related crimes and wipe out complex drug situations in large cities.
Mr. Dung called on the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organisations to actively participate in the campaign under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, which will report its results to the Prime Minister before July 30.
