Team departs to search Vietnamese soldiers’ remains in Laos, Cambodia
PANO - Search and Collection Team K53 of Kon Tum province on November 11 departed for a mission in the dry season of 2019-2020 to search for and repatriate remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who laid down their lives in Laos and Cambodia during wartime.
At the event, Senior Colonel Ho Anh Tuan, Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command, hoped that the team will continue to raise their sense of responsibility and strict observance of military discipline, promote the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and be determined to successfully complete all tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the unit.

The team should closely coordinate with local authorities and people to perform their duties, he added.
Colonel Nguyen Cong Khoa, head of the team, affirmed that the is meaningful, demonstrating the Vietnamese tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source.”
The team will make great efforts, overcome all difficulties, and strive to fulfill the task, he promised.
