Team 515 of the Tuyen Quang provincial Military Command continues its dedicated mission to search for and recover the remains of fallen soldiers. |
Colonel Tran Quang Huy, head of the team, said that the search and collection of the six sets of remains of fallen soldiers were conducted under extremely harsh weather and terrain conditions. However, thanks to the cooperation, guidance, and information provided by veterans of Vi Xuyen Front, those who directly fought alongside the fallen soldiers, the team successfully completed the work.
He added that because the remains were buried deep beneath rocky layers, their condition and biological samples are still well-preserved and complete, creating favorable conditions for DNA testing.
