At the working session

So far, the Military History Institute of Vietnam has coordinated with relevant agencies and units to well prepare for scientific workshop, and as a result, the organizing panel has received 60 presentations focusing on the workshop topics.

Speaking at the event, General Chiem highly praised the Vietnam Military History Institute's responsibility, the Military Region 4 Command and various agencies and units involved in preparing for the conference. He also asked the members of the organizing panel to carefully review all aspects of the preparation and closely coordinated with the forces inside and outside the military to organize the workshop as scheduled. In addition, the press agencies should promote the information dissemination on the significance of the workshop to people, especially to younger generations, so that they can better understand the value of the resistance war against US invaders, including the Victory of Road 9 - Khe Sanh 1968, he noted.
