The participants offered incense and flowers at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs and paid tribute to the martyrs at Incense Offering Complex 468 in Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district.

Nguyen Thi To Tam, a representative of the Tam An Charity Foundation, stated that the requiem was organized to express gratitude to heroic martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the national liberation cause. It was also an occasion for martyrs’ relatives and participants to commemorate the generations of forefathers who sacrificed their blood and bone for the independence of the nation, she added.
