Reportedly, the seven sets and other belongings were found in Mai Trung village, Cam Chinh commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri.

Among them, six sets were wrapped in pieces of parachute fabric. The remaining was collected in an ammunition box. Especially, thanks to the details on an aluminum tag, a fallen soldier was identified as martyr Le Duy Nghim, born in 1949 in Quang Xuong commune, Thanh Hoa province. He died on October 12, 1972.

The belongings found with the remains included buttons, belts, rubber sandals, etc.

At present, the team is working with Thanh Hoa province’s functional units to verify the found remains and expanding the search area.
