Currently, the province has more than 130,000 national contributors, including over 14,000 wounded and sick soldiers, and nearly 6,000 Vietnamese heroic mothers (319 mothers still alive).

According to the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Tien Giang annually raises funds to repair and build houses of gratitude for policy beneficiaries facing housing difficulties, hand over savings books, and take good care of local Vietnamese heroic mothers and lonely parents of martyrs.
