PANO - The Air Defence and Air Force Service and the Liberation Film One-Member Co. Ltd. have been shooting the film “Beyond the sky”, highlighting the important historic events in the resistance war against American imperialists of Northern troops and people in the 1965-75 period, especially the fight against B-52s of the air defence and air force troops and the capital’s militia.
The contents and characters of the film as well as its process were introduced at a press conference on December 26th in Hanoi by the two above-mentioned units.
Addressing the conference, the film’s scriptwriter, Colonel Nguyen Minh Ngoc, said that focusing on the brilliant fight of Hanoi’s troops and people against the American B-52s, the film lays stress on the tragedy of the fight and the heroic sacrifices of our troops and people, and that all circumstances and events captured in the film are real.
All characters in the film, despite their own fate and individual life, had been united with each other to defeat foreign invaders.
The 50 episode film is expected to be aired next August and each episode lasts 45 minutes.
