Two distressed fishermen rescued in Binh Thuan waters
PANO - Coast Guard Ship 6007 has handed over two fishermen in trouble due to an accident at sea to the Border Gate of Phu Quy Border Port in Binh Thuan province.
At 9:00 on March 17, at a border checkpoint of the Border Gate of Phu Quy Border Port, Coast Guard Ship 6007 of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command handed over two fishermen on barge numbered LA05923. Earlier, they were in trouble as the barge sank in the waters of Binh Thuan province.

Earlier, in March 9, Ship 6007 was informed that trawler BTh 85372 TS had rescued the two distressed fishermen about 32 nautical miles North of the place where the barge sank.
After receiving the fishermen, the ship kept searching for other missing fishermen of the barge.

The two fishermen were Vo Van Sang (born in 1961 from Binh Son commune, Hon Dat district, Kien Giang province), and Le Van Cuong (born in 1985, from Hiep Loi ward, Nga Bay city, Hau Giang province).
They are in stable health condition.
