Six distressed fishermen and trawler rescued at sea
PANO - Quynh Phuong Border Post under the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command, on December 6, in coordination with Flotilla 102 of the Coast Guard Region 1 Command and local authorities, handed over distressed fishermen and their trawler to their localities.
Earlier, on December 4, a trawler, numbered NA 94583 TS with six crew-members on board, captained by Ho Phuc Long from Tan Hai village, Quynh Phuong ward, Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province, had an engine failure while fishing at sea.

After receiving the mayday signal from the trawler, Ship CSB 8003 of Flotilla 102 of the Coast Guard Region 1 Command approached the trawler and towed it ashore.
Due to the dried canal, Quynh Phuong Border Post then sent a canoe to bring the fishermen ashore, and together with the local authorities, mobilized another trawler numbered NA 94044 TS to the scene to tow the distressed trawler to Lach Con port, Hoang Mai town.
Quynh Phuong Border Post and Flotilla 102 then handed over the distressed fishermen and trawler to their local authorities.
