At the event, Trieu Van Border Post handed over 100 warm coats to 100 students in difficult circumstances and 120 national flags to local fishermen. The entire funding for this activity was voluntarily contributed by officers and soldiers in the unit, along with donations from local benefactors.

On this occasion, the border post held a meeting to disseminate legal knowledge related to protection of national sovereignty and border security. Participants were also updated on local security situation; various schemes commonly used by criminals along the coastal border; the fight against illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, theft, high-tech crime.

At the event, the organizing panel distributed 200 leaflets on IUU fishing and the dangers of drugs to youth and local residents.
