Tra Co Border Station rescues distressed fishermen
PANO - Troops from Tra Co Border Station saved four distressed fishermen from a sunken fishing boat, according to Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan, head of the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command.

At 2:00 a.m. on February 22, a wooden boat numbered TB-10383-TS was hit on its side in Quang Ninh waters. The boat was captained by Hoang Van Dinh from Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province, with three other men on board.
The boat sank due to huge waves at around 3:00 a.m. the same day in the waters of Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province.
Upon receiving the news, Tra Co Border Station immediately sent troops and a vehicle to the scene, collaborating with local fishermen nearby to rescue the four distressed fishermen and bring them ashore safely.
Later that day, when the tide was low, Tra Co Border Station assisted relevant forces in salvaging the fishing boat and towing it to port for repairs.
