Directed by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Organization with the theme “Aspirations from the city named after Uncle Ho,” the campaign aims to promote the vanguard and volunteer spirit of young people in socio-economic development, community issue resolution, and the building of new-style rural and civilized urban areas. It also targets ensuring social welfare, national defense, and security in disadvantaged, remote, border, island, ethnic, and religious areas.

Right after the ceremony, troops of Squadron 129, along with local youths, engaged in various activities, including removing illegal advertisements and classifieds, cleaning the environment, and planting trees along several streets in Phuoc Thang ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The volunteer forces also actively guided locals in installing the “Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen” application.
Senior Colonel Le Xuan Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of Squadron 129, stated that this practical activity created an environment for young people to train, dedicate themselves, and mature. The movement thereby helped shape a generation of youths with a good lifestyle, strong mettle, intellect, and social skills to contribute to the cause of national construction and defense.
