The meaningful project, completed ahead of the new school year, will provide teachers and students with better conditions for teaching and learning.

The event was attended by Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Army Newspaper Sr. Col. Ngo Anh Thu, representatives from the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), sponsors, teachers, and students at the Thip Dao satellite campus.

Lang Thip Kindergarten in Lam Giang commune has one main campus and five satellite campuses, serving nearly 400 students. More than 70 percent are children from ethnic minority communities, mainly Dao and H’mong. All students at the Thip Dao satellite campus are from ethnic minority groups.

Over the years, with support from the Party, the State, local authorities, and social organizations, the school has received investment in facilities to support preschool education. However, the local economy and living conditions remain difficult, affecting the care and education of preschool students.

Understanding these challenges, the People’s Army Newspaper connected with MB and its branches, Pitex Paint Company, and VTAmedia to build a new well-equipped classroom for the Thip Dao satellite campus, offering students a safer and more welcoming learning environment.

Speaking at the handover ceremony on behalf of the supporting and sponsoring units, Sr. Col. Ngo Anh Thu said that charitable activities supported by authorities, localities, organizations, and businesses had helped ease the difficulties faced by students in mountainous areas on their journey to school.

“With the support and contributions of MB and its branches and other sponsoring organizations, we believe that the new classroom will provide students with a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment. We hope they will achieve good results in the new school year so that every day at school will be a happy day for them,” she said.
