More support given to needy households in border areas
PANO – The Border Post of Ea H’leo under the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with the local authorities and organizations, held a program to present gifts to needy students and families in the border areas of Ia Lop commune, Ea Sup district, Dak Lak province.
On this occasion, the units presented 20 bicycles, worth VND 2 million each, to needy student with good academic results; 50 gifts, worth VND 300,000 each, to poor households in the areas. The total value of the program was about VND 60 million.

Major Vu Van Duong, Political Instructor of the border post noted that Ia Lop is an extremely poor border commune with 1,802 households. The local living quality is still low with 71% of poor families.
Over the past time, in addition to cooperating with the local authorities in socio-economic development and poverty reduction, the unit has also called for supports from sponsors, organizations and individuals so as to share difficulties with the locals.
