At the event, the organizers also launched the second national photo contest and exhibition on the theme, which aims to raise people’s awareness of protecting national sovereignty and security in border areas.

The contest is eligible to Vietnamese citizens living in Vietnam and abroad and foreign people living and working in Vietnam. Participants are encouraged to take photos reflecting the beauty of landscapes and people in land border areas and the daily life and working activities of people in border localities, especially ethnic minority people and religious followers.

Entries must be black and white photos and taken from 2020. They must have not been submitted to other contests or be exhibited at any exhibition held by the Vietnamese Photographers’ Association. Each participant can send maximum ten photos to join the event.

Participants should post their works on website: www.anhnghethuatbiengioi2022.com before August 30.
