More gratitude houses given to needy families
PANO - On October 16, the Ho Chi Minh City’s Veteran Businessmen Association, in coordination with the charity fund “Friends,” inaugurated and handed over a gratitude house to a veteran in Gia Lai province.
The recipient was veteran Siu Luu from Mook Den 1 hamlet, Ia Dom commune, Duc Co district, Gia Lai province. The house was built on an area of nearly 80 square meters, costing VND 100 million donated by the association and the fund.

On this occasion, the sponsors also presented meaningful gifts to the recipient as well as 50 other ethnic minority households in the commune.
* The same day, Signal Brigade 601 of Military Region 1 granted a gratitude house to the family of Private First Class Do Cong Minh from Company 5, Battalion 2 of the brigade.

After two months, the construction was completed as scheduled, on an area of 144 square meters. It cost nearly VND 800 million, including VND 110 million from Military Region 1 and Signal Brigade 601.
In addition, the brigade mobilized troops to contribute nearly 900 working days for the construction of the house.
