MND presents gifts to national contributors from Ca Mau
PANO - Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet chaired a meeting with and presented gifts of the Ministry of National Defense (MND) to a delegation of national contributors from Ca Mau province on September 15 in Hanoi.

In the resistance war for national salvation and defense, under the sound leadership of the Party, the armed forces and people of Ca Mau province stayed united and promoted the patriotic tradition to contribute to the national liberation and reunification.
According to reports, the southern province has 16,580 wounded soldiers, 297 sick soldiers, nearly 18,000 martyrs, and 2,510 heroic Vietnamese mothers.
Over the past time, the Party Organization, authorities, troops, and people of Ca Mau have made great efforts and heightened responsibility for implementing policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet expressed gratitude to Ca Mau provincial Party Committee, authorities, and people for helping troops fulfill their missions in wartime and in the national construction and defense cause.
The deputy chief of the General Department of Political Affairs said that over the past time the Central Military Commission and MND have actively made recommendations to the Party and State to issue and carry out various new policies for troops and their families, and national contributors. Agencies and units in the whole military have actively implemented gratitude activities, contributing to eliminating hunger, reducing poverty, and raising living standards of policy beneficiaries.
