Military medical teams of the hospital were also dispatched to houses of the veterans who were not able to come to the event to provide health check-ups.

The hospital examined all of the 181 cases and provided free medicine, worth VND 100,000 each case. Moreover, the hospital also presented gifts to five policy beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, in Vinh Vien A commune, Long My district, Hau Giang province, doctors of Division 330 under Military Region 9 provided free health check-ups, health counseling, and medicine to the locals on April 26.

Earlier, from April 17, more than 100 officers and soldiers of Regiment 1 (former U Minh Regiment) of the division had supported the local people to upgrade roads, repair schools, and renovate cultural facilities.

In the resistance war against American imperialists, the regiment operated in Vinh Vien A commune, that was honored with the title "Hero of Armed Forces" three times, and many other communes in Long My district.

According to the Chairman of Vinh Vien A commune People’s Committee, 25% of the population of this revolutionary commune are policy beneficiaries and revolution contributors.

In the coming time, the division and the locals will continue promoting cooperation activities to strengthen the civil-military ties.
