PANO - Military Hospital 103 under the Vietnam Military Medical Academy has well organized its activities, focusing on training and transferring new techniques to hospitals at lower level in 2016.
The above positive result was revealed at a conference held on November 22 by the hospital to review its operations in 2016.

Thanks to organ transplant transfers from Military Hospital 103, Thai Nguyen Provincial General Hospital successfully performed eight kidney transplants while Hanoi-based Saint Paul Hospital transplanted kidneys 18th times.
The hospital has also transferred other techniques related to prostate, ultrasound of blood vessel, outer membrane of heart to military hospitals.
Notably, it has given periodical health check-ups to officers, troops, defense workers at 26 units. Moreover, it has treated 51,041 patients, organized 24 blood donation drives in 11 units, collecting 8,616 blood units.
Attentively, it has developed a number of new techniques to better care for patients.
At the conference, delegates spoke highly of the hospital’s outcome in the year and proposed orientations for 2017 as administrative reform at the outpatient department, development and application of new techniques in treatment, infection control, two-way information provision among hospitals.
