Military units hand over gratitude houses to needy families
PANO – On December 12, Brigade 170 of the Naval Region 1 Command, in association with functional agencies, held a ceremony to unveil and hand over a “Great unity” house to Ms. Hoang Thi Nhan in Truong Tien hamlet, Hai Lang commune, Tien Yen district, Quang Ninh province.
The family of Ms. Nhan is an impoverished household in the commune and had to live in a downgraded house.

After three months, the 120sq.m house was completed as planned, with the construction support budget of VND 400 million VND, of which VND 80 million came from Brigade 170 and the Military Command of Tien Yen district.
* The same day, Branch 716 of Corps 15 joined hands with local authorities to inaugurate a solar lighting system, costing VND 95 million, in Hamlet 8, Ia Dat commune, Ia H’Drai district, Kon Tum province. Reportedly, the newly-installed system will serve 114 households in the hamlet in particular and residents in the commune in general.

At the same time, Branch 716 also inaugurated seven gratitude houses, with the construction support budget of VND 50 - 80 million VND each from the Military Commercial Joint-stock Bank (MB), and handed them over to its employees and local people in need in Ia Dal commune.
On the occasions, the military units and local authorities presented gifts and necessities to the recipients.
