Each house spans 75 square meters, built on the families' land and includes a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and auxiliary facilities. The total construction cost for the 10 houses amounted to VND 1.45 billion, of which Southwest One-Member Production, Trading, Import-Export Co., Ltd. donated VND 1 billion, and the remaining was contributed by the families.
During the ceremony, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau provincial Military Command, the company, and local authorities presented gifts to support the families.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Hoang Tan said that in 2024, 34 houses had been presented to families as part of efforts to implement the program "The military joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" and the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses initiated by the Prime Minister. This initiative reflects the commitment to helping disadvantaged families, contributing to enriching the tradition of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new era.
On behalf of the recipients, Tran Dinh Cam thanked the provincial military command, relevant agencies, and local authorities for helping them have well-built homes. He emphasized that this support serves as a motivation for families to overcome hardships, stabilize their lives, and enhance their economic conditions. He pledged to comply with local regulations and actively contribute to building a prosperous community.
