Implementing the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the 2021-2030 period, Company 72 has closely worked with local authorities to implement the “Breeding cows” model in the area. During the program, the unit has presented 35 breeding cows to poor and near-poor households, worth over VND 657 million.

On the occasion, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Duc Co district Party Committee Siu Thil thanked the Party, State, military, Army Corps 15, and Company 72 for their care for the locals and students, underscoring that over the past years, the district has gained many achievements in socio-economic development. However, ethnic minority people in remote and border areas are still facing many difficulties.

Therefore, the project and model contribute to helping the locals develop economy, and support many students to continue their study. “Especially, the company also always stands side by side with the ethnic minorities in Duc Co district. Social welfare programs of the unit in recent years have made important contribution to socio-economic development, strengthening the defense and security of the district,” added Mr. Siu Thil.
