Military unit cares for Hoa Binh residents
PANO – A mission of the General Department of Techniques under the Ministry of National Defense conducted a social welfare program in the northern province of Hoa Binh on July 5 and 6 on the occasion of the 72nd War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).
The unit’s medical team provided free health check-ups, medicines, and health counselling for 500 people in Nhan Nghia, Xuat Hoa, and Van Son communes in Hoa Binh’s Lac Son district.

In addition, the General Department of Techniques handed over 40 gifts, worth VND 20 million, to local policy beneficiaries.
The social program showed the sentiments and responsibility of the unit’s cadres and soldiers for local residents, contributing to tightening the close military-civilian relations.
Previously, the delegation offered incense and flowers at the monument dedicated to war martyrs of Depot K834 of the Department of Military Weapons and Equipment under the General Department of Techniques.
