Over the past years, Political Officers' Training School has been among military schools with the highest admission scores in the whole military. The result came from its effective information dissemination. In 2023, five out of 443 are excellent students in national contests in History and Geography.
Before the event, the school’s Party Committee and management board directed relevant departments to foster cooperation to build plans and make thorough preparations of forces and vehicles to welcome new cadets as regulated.

The 2023 - 2024 is forecast to be a tough academic year for the school since it applies four-year training program for the first time, and it is stationed in four localities, namely Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, and Hoa Binh. With the “All for the growth of cadets” spirit, the school is determined to successfully fulfill assigned missions.
The same day, the Armored Officers' Training School received cadets of the 48th course in Vinh Phuc province. According to the school’s Vice Rector in charge of education Senior Colonel Dao Chi Thanh, after completing admission procedures, cadets will be given a week to get used to the military environment and get to know the school’s halls of fame, training facilities, library, and classrooms. The freshmen will participate in extracurricular activities and practice line-up regulations for the ceremony to kick-start the 2023 - 2024 academic year which is scheduled to be held on September 18.

Earlier on September 9, the Military Technical Academy welcomed 458 cadets of the 59th course in Vinh Phuc. Of the new cadets, 285 are from Northern localities, and the rest come from the South.
In the early morning of September 8, the Military Technical Academy solemnly hosted cadets from Southern localities at the Hanoi Railway Station. The school’s academic year will officially start on September 14 with a ceremony.
