Conference approves benchmark scores for military schools in 2022
PANO – The Ministry of National Defense’s Military Enrollment Board, on September 14, held a conference to review and approve benchmark scores for military schools in 2022. The event was chaired by Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong.
During the conference, the Department of Military School Management briefed participants on the results of the examination and proposed benchmark scores of military academies and schools in 2022.

Accordingly, in 2022, more than 11,000 students registered to enter 17 military academies and schools. Therefore, functional military units and schools have actively conducted enrollment work as regulated.
Addressing the conference, General Cuong affirmed that the enrollment work in general and military enrollment work in particular always attract attention of the society. It requires accuracy, democracy and transparency, directly contributing to improving the quality of education and training in the military.

The chief of the General Staff requested the Department of Military School Management, together with functional units, to finalize the benchmark score regulations of military schools and academies so as to make public as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. All tasks must be ensured in line with COVID-19 prevention and control regulation.
