Leaders of Military Hospital 175 and delegates present gifts to policy families.

The event was part of practical activities to mark the 49th anniversary of the foundation day of Military Hospital 175 (May 26, 1975 - 2024), the 79th anniversary of the foundation day of Binh Thuan’s armed forces (August 25, 1945 - 2024), and the 80th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024). The program was also in response to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Hygiene and the Month for Workers.

During the program, doctors and nurses provided health examination and medicines for more than 300 policy families and households with difficult circumstances in My Thanh commune, Ham Thuan Nam district. At the event, locals were equipped with methods to prevent some diseases and protect their health. In addition, the organizing panel presented 300 gift packages to policy families and residents with difficult circumstances.

Military Hospital 175 also collaborated with other units and local authorities to hand over educational equipment, worth over VND 7 million, to My Thanh Primary School; present medicines, worth over VND 10 million, to My Thanh Health Station; and give gifts, worth VND 11 million, to  policy families and four children with disabilities in the commune. On this occasion, Military Hospital 175 also provided orthopedic surgical assistance as requested by the North Binh Thuan regional General Hospital.

The same day, Military Hospital 175 and the Binh Thuan provincial Military Command held a meeting to review the outcomes of their collaboration in the 2022-2023 period and signed an agreement on coordination for the 2024-2025 period.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of Military Hospital 175 Colonel Bui Duc Thanh acknowledged the outcomes of the two units' collaboration so far. He affirmed that the hospital will continue to create favorable conditions and actively support the transfer of necessary medical techniques to the provincial military command's infirmary, Phu Quy district’s Military-Civilian Medical Center, and North Binh Thuan regional General Hospital as requested and according to practical needs.

He said that the medical staff of the two units should continue to strengthen exchanges and experience sharing, thus improving their professional skills to continuously enhance the quality of healthcare for soldiers and people.
