According to Colonel Dang Nguyen Huong, Political Commissar of Dak Long Border Post, to ensure task completion during the Tet, the unit has built plans to strengthen the management and protection of the border, territorial sovereignty and maintain on-duty troops as regulated.

Col. Huong added that during Tet, the unit will enhance patrols to safeguard the border, send more troops to keep a close watch on situations in the locality, and assign troops to welcome Tet with local people.

Before the official Tet holiday, the unit joined hands with local party committee and authorities to disseminate information to locals to encourage them to celebrate Tet in a safe and economical manner. It also organized sport, cultural and artistic exchanges to boost the military-civilian relations.
