Four fishermen rescued after fishing boat sinks at sea
PANO – On August 1, the Border Station of Tien Sa Port Border Gate of the Da Nang Municipal Border Guard Command received four fishermen from trawler ND 93319 TS, which had sunk offshore.
Earlier, at 6:30 a.m. on July 31, while passing through waters off Thanh Hoa province, vessel Hai Duong 99 discovered four drifting fishermen from trawler ND 93319 TS in distress. The vessel promptly rescued and gave first aid to the survivors.

The rescued crew-members were identified as Pham Van Chuyen (born 1976), Pham Van Nguyen (born 1978), Nguyen Van The (born 1979), and Tran Van Hung (born 1984), all residents of Quy Nhat commune, Ninh Binh province. After their fishing boat capsized and sank, the four clung to a coracle and drifted at sea starting from 8:30 a.m. on July 30.
Upon arriving in Da Nang city, vessel Hai Duong 99 handed over the rescued fishermen to the Border Station of Tien Sa Port Border Gate.
