On behalf of the delegation, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son extended Tet greetings, and presented gifts along with VND 500 million to the Party Committee and People's Committee of Huong Son district. These gifts aim to support the local authority of Huong Son district in ensuring a cozy and warm Tet for policy beneficiaries and impoverished households in the area.

Bui Nhan Sam, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Huong Son district, expressed gratitude for the assistance of the General Staff and the General Department of Defense Industry towards the authority and people of Huong Son district. He also informed the achievements of Huong Son district in 2023 in terms of socio-economic development, defense and security, and local military affairs. He expressed the hope for further support from the General Staff and the General Department of Defense Industry, contributing to strengthening civil-military solidarity.

On the same day, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son and the delegation presented Tet gifts to the local authority of Son Bang commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province. Additionally, they donated VND 30 million to the Gratitude Fund and VND 20 million to the Fund for the Needy of Son Bang commune.

For the lunar New Year 2024, the General Department of Defense Industry allocated nearly VND 5 billion from its charitable funds for visiting and presenting gifts to policy beneficiaries and laborers facing difficulties, and impoverished households in the stationed areas of its subordinate units.

Earlier, the delegation offered incense and flowers in tribute to the fallen heroes at the Martyrs’ Monument in Son Bang commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province.
