During the program, an orator from Coast Guard Region 3 urged ethnic minorities and religious followers to preserve their fine cultural identities, eradicate backward customs, lead a good secular and religious life, and join hands in building and defending the Fatherland. Furthermore, the authorities disseminated regulations on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, as well as the Fisheries Law and the Vietnam Coast Guard Law.
