Coast guards stand by ethnic minority people and religious followers
PANO - The Coast Guard Region 2 Command and the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization co-held the “Coast guards stand by ethnic minority people and religious followers” program on September 23 in Tien Lap commune, Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province.
During the event, the organizing panel updated local people with information related to the Party’s guidelines and policies and the State’s laws, and policies for ethnic minority groups; as well as encourage people to eliminate backward customs and practices, incestuous marriages, child marriages and school drugs.

Also at the event, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command inaugurated and handed over a “great solidarity house” to the family of Le Van Sa, an ethnic minority in Village 1, Tien Lap commune, Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province.
This was a social security activity coordinated by the Coast Guard Region 2 Command and the local Party Committee and authorities of Central provinces to effectively implement the National Target Program and support people, especially poor households, to soon stabilize their life and continue to develop household economy to have a better future.
