Khanh Hoa border guards save fisherman in distress at sea

Earlier, a trawler numbered KH 0037 TS, captained by Vo Linh born in 1968 in Vinh Phuoc ward, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa, was sunk due to big waves while fishing at sea about 300 meters from Tran Phu bridge (Nha Trang city).

Around 6:00 on October 31, upon receiving the information, Cau Bong Border Station sent six troops and vehicles to the scene for rescue missions. After two hours, the rescue team approached the troubled trawler and took the victim ashore safely. The medical staff then gave first aid to him.

At present, the patient’s health is stable. Cau Bong Border Station is coordinating with local authorities and the victim’s family to salvage the sunken trawler.
