GDT builds community house for people in Gia Lai

The event was attended by Party Secretary and Commissar of the GDT Lieutenant General Tran Duy Hung, local leadership, and people in Ha Ra village.

Meeting local Party committee, authorities, and people’s aspiration, at the beginning of 2022, the GDT reported to the Ministry of National Defense to ask for financial assistance and worked closely with other agencies and units to conduct surveys, design, and construct the project.

After four months, the community house project for people in Ha Ra village was completed. The project on an area of 1,000 sq.m. has four compartments with a capacity of 100 seats, a stage, a corridor, and stairs. It also includes two separated restrooms for men and women, a fence surrounding the house, an iron gate, front and back concrete yard, and lightening and water system. 

At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Hung acknowledged and praised relevant units for their efforts in completing the project as planned while ensuring its quality and aesthetics.

The GDT Commissar congratulated cadres and people in Ha Ra village on receiving the community house and affirmed that the project is not only a venue for local people to meet and preserve cultural identities, but also a symbol of military-civilian solidarity. The building of the house demonstrates the care of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense for people’s cultural and spiritual life.
