The action month will take place from November 15 to December 15, 2025.

According to the guidelines, the action month aims to strengthen knowledge and self-protection skills, particularly against risks associated with online platforms; enhance the responsibility of relevant agencies and organizations; and promote prevention, detection, and timely handling of cases of violence and abuse against women and children. At the same time, it seeks to raise awareness and encourage active participation in applying science, technology, and digital transformation; foster knowledge and skills for safe engagement on digital platforms, contributing to building a safe and equal environment in the digital age.

During the month, agencies and units will organize communication, dissemination and education of laws on gender equality and the prevention and response to gender-based violence through diverse, effective forms. These efforts will be combined with such communication activities as exchanges, seminars, forums, and thematic talks related to Vietnam Law Day and the Action Month for HIV/AIDS Prevention.

Agencies and units will send delegations to visit and support victims of violence and abuse, present gifts to exemplary or disadvantaged military families; honor individuals and collectives with outstanding contribution to promoting gender equality and preventing violence against women and children.

To ensure practical and effective implementation, the GDP's Board for Women Advancement has requested its subordinate agencies to develop specific plans for thoroughly disseminating and carrying out activities during the month in a serious, high-quality, and result-oriented manner. The Women’s Union will play a key role, pro-actively coordinating with mass organizations and relevant functional agencies to implement activities.
