Working under intense heat, heavy rain, and muddy red basalt soil, the militia personnel undertake tasks ranging from digging drainage systems and installing utilities to transporting materials, pouring concrete, and building walls. Although the work is physically demanding and living conditions are basic, the soldiers remain committed to completing every assignment.

Luong The Tam, a standing militiaman from Dak Sak Commune Military Command, said the difficult weather has not dampened morale. "If we can finish even a small part of the project earlier, children in the border area will have their new school sooner," he said.
Major Phan Cong Son, a political assistant at the Dak Song Commune Military Command, said all officers and soldiers understand the importance of the mission. Despite the hardships of both construction and daily life, everyone remains committed to overcoming difficulties and completing assigned tasks.
At the Quang Truc construction site, militia member Dao Van Chung from Thuan Hanh Commune Military Command, said every task, from excavating foundations to mixing concrete, is carried out with a strong sense of responsibility. He added that seeing local children study in modern classrooms would be the greatest reward for their efforts.
The troops have also been encouraged by strong support from local authorities and residents, who regularly provide vegetables, fruit, eggs, and other kinds of food, strengthening both daily meals and the close bond between the military and the people.
Under the 100-day campaign to build boarding schools in border communes, the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command has deployed 180 standing militia personnel from 14 commune and ward military commands to support construction at the two sites. According to Senior Colonel Truong Ngoc Truong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Military Command, participating in this national key project is both an honor and a responsibility, with all personnel committed to completing the mission to the highest standard.
