During the program, the delegation offered free medical examinations, health counseling and medicines to nearly 3,500 policy beneficiaries, ill people, the elderly, and members of poor and near-poor households in the three communes of Trinh Tuong, Coc My, and Nam Chac.

Moreover, the delegation conducted dissemination activities sharing information about healthy living environment, disease prevention among local people; presented gifts to schools, polyclinics, medical stations, policy beneficiaries and students with difficulties; and organized an artistic exchange.

These activities have contributed to heightening military medical staff’s responsibility of taking care of the health of people in remote areas and tightening military-civilian ties, thereby firmly safeguarding political security, social order and safety as well as national border.
