Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong delivers his action plan at the event.

In his speech, General Cuong expressed his honor to be a candidate for the 15th National Assembly in Binh Duong province. He highlighted that the authorities and people of Phu Giao district have always brought into full play the glorious tradition of their ancestors, consolidated solidarity among troops and people, and exerted great efforts to increase local socio-economic development. The deputy defense minister hoped that local military units such as Brigade 429 (Commando Corps), Regiment 271 (Division 5) and Commando Battalion 60 (the Staff of Military Region 7), would improve combat readiness, training quality, and military disciplines and regulatory building, contributing to fulfilling all assigned tasks.

The general promised that if elected as a deputy to the 15th NA, he will continue directing units in the whole military, including the ones of the Binh Duong Provincial Armed Forces, Military Region 7 and the Defense Ministry in the locality, to closely coordinate with the local Party committee, authorities, and organizations to develop the local socio-economy and culture while also consolidating the defense-security situation, political security and social order, building new-style rural areas, preventing natural disasters and diseases, and implementing search and rescue activities.

He vowed that in his capacity, he would pay much attention to carrying out policies for troops’ families and proposing solutions to promote the locality’s potential, contributing to achieving the set targets expounded in the resolution of the Congress of the Provincial Party Organization for the 2020-2025 tenure.

On the occasion, General Cuong had a working session with Phu Giao District Military Command of Binh Duong Provincial Military Command.
