Defense ministry presents gifts to former revolutionaries
PANO - On September 13, the Ministry of National Defense held a meeting with a delegation from the Association of Veteran Revolutionaries who had been imprisoned by the enemy in Can Tho city.

Major General Doan Quang Hoa, Director of the Department of Policy under the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People's Army, chaired the meeting.
During the event, on behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Doan Quang Hoa inquired after and presented gifts to 47 delegates from the association.
Major General Doan Quang Hoa provided the delegates with information about various activities of the armed forces in recent years. He emphasized that the gratitude movement has received care and attention from Party committees and military commanding officers at all levels. This movement has effectively mobilized numerous resources to care for those who contributed to the country.
The military pro-actively proposed and implemented comprehensive policies for those who participated in resistance wars to protect the homeland and fulfill international duties.
